he or she can only go with βisβ, so the sentence in only correct if "Johnβs sister is taller than he is"
So therefore the correct one is him. -
Dear All,
Anyone with a good English tutor to recommend? My girl will be taking her PSLE next year. -

Hi StrugglingMum,Dear All,

I can't advise on 1-1/home tuition, but if your dd has a decent grasp of the language and is looking to excel in the paper/prep for secondary 1 (especially preparation for expository writing since she would not be affected by the new PSLE English format), there's always the usual suspects - Creative Horizons, Creative Campus, Alternative Story, Write Circle and of course, ***, haha.
Perhaps if you could reply here/PM me some more information about your dd's English (areas she's looking to improve in/teacher's comments etc), I will do my best to assist

Dear all,
I am new to this forum. I am also checking for a good english tutor for my girl who is taking p6 this year. Anyone can suggest good tutor/institution.
She needs more guidance on comprehension OE and OE cloze (where you need to fill the blanks with suitable words). Thanks
