So do I! And I will compute to see how many km I got per litre.Andaiz:
....Oh yes, one thing we do is to re-set the trip oddometer to zero after pumping so we'd know how much distance we'd covered with the same tank of petrol.
anyone else does this?
we do !
The mechanics servicing my car said SPC has the \"dirtiest\" gas. He consistently found cars using SPC has the dirtiest and most clogged up engines. Not sure how true this is... :? -

We do too. And we keep our $3 coupons in the glove compartment as wellAndaiz:

Looks like the cashiers at every Esso station unanimously think I don't need to be given the $3 coupons cos I have never received them anymore after the first time!!!!
This is really strange... :? :? At payment, they also never asked if I have the coupons, they just deducted automatically for me. I must be looking blur..
Anyone else have my experience? -

I was told once that these petrol companies buy from one another, the difference is only the additives added by the companies. Also heard that SPC is from China ..... :? -

Really? So much discount ar?
How much discount izzit?carebear:
Esso, cos of the citibank discount.
If other brand got better discount, i will gladly switch!
With OCBC at Caltex, it's 17% together with the $3 coupon they give out
But i don't have OCBC card.
Citibank at esso can get 5% on top of the 5% discount at the station and 5% cashback, so save 14.5%.
Now got another one with the dividend card, i just found out.

I thought Esso Platimum card by DBS is still the best for offers at Esso??? They offer up to 16% and some offers are only applicable to Esso card holder. :?Citibank at esso can get 5% on top of the 5% discount at the station and 5% cashback, so save 14.5%.

But what i like about citibank is that they send you a cheque after every quarter so you can spend it in anyway you like, unlike most of the others where you have to redeem a voucher, or continue to spend using the card in order to enjoy the cashback. -

So how do your cars perform? Mine can get 11+ km/l on average. Best was 13km/l, worst was 9+ km/l. Since starting to send DD to school in the morning and getting stuck in traffic more often, think I can't get that good mileage out of a tank now.
