      MMM:
      Hi,

I actually get pilfood from my GP at 81 family clinic. It is at Blk 81 Marine Parade. I just bought the shampoo from unity yesterday at $19... Think the clinic is still cheaper. I will check the next time I visit the clinic.

I only took pilfood for a month and used the shampoo for a longer period and it works in my case.

My GP used to tell me that his wife didn't believe him and went to some expensive hair loss program... in the end after spending 10k, there is no result....
      Hi MMM,

Thanks for sharing. I will drop by the clinic to get it after CNY! (must use the minoxidil 5% first then use Pilfood. don't waste first.

my only 'saving grace' is that i have naturally wavy hair and that helps to 'boost' up the volume of my hair. else i will need man-made hair liao!

I started by last weekend, seem like its works..... 🙏

Pls eat it religiously to get better results. BTW, if you are breastfeeding, it's always good to get doc's clearance though my GP told me before that it's mainly made up of vitamins,etc...

Me too you know. Its the advert that prompt me to see the doc. and also i didn’t want to spend good money on the hairloss salon - not too confident of them… but then again, i must say not all GPs are the same. My first GP - steroid + regain

          2nd GP - minoxidil 5%
but none recommend or prescribe me to Pilfood…

            :thankyou: MMM

I started using pilfood shampoo after your sharing the info, hv been using it for the past 3 mths.
Now, my hair loss is under control. Didn't take the tablets, cos I hate taking pills.
The shampoo may costs $19 or so a bottle, but a little goes a long way....maybe becos I cut my hair real short too.
Now, am hoping that new hair will grow back quickly.
Does taking the tabs help? If so, will get some to start......
            Many thanks....

In my case, I've fine hair. Some hairdresser call it the baby hair. It used to be very fine but now appeared to strengthen alittle after child birth. When I was in school, I need to use those small hair clips to tie my hair unless it will slipped off.... Recently with the monthly hair dye, I am experiencing hair loss, so I am now using pilfood shampoo on a daily basis. It does create more volume otherwise I will feel so conscious about my gray and little hair....

It's great that you benefit from pilfood as well. Actually my gp started with prescribing me with the pills + shampoo. I only took it for 1 month and sort of lax after seeing results. You might want to consider but if you hate pills and is happy with current result, then leave it.

But my impression is that it is fine to use it on a daily basis.

I used to have thick hair when i got pregnant, after that the hair continued to be thick for the next 10 years! Then i went on a low carbo diet, omiting rice totally. Lost hair gradually, didn’t know the reason initially. I tried all sorts of supplements and hair spray to no avail. Then read somewhere that if one omits staple food, one may lose hair. So i started eating rice again, but this time i started exercising to maintain my wiehgt. After 3 months, i noticed that my hair loss reduced drastically, and now after 1 year, i am beginning to feel that my hair is slowly recovering its glory.

I am recently experiencing hair loss probably due to hair dye... Need to cover grey hairs.

                      .
Chemical dyes will affect quality of hair. Try covering your greys with \"henna\" instead. It's a plant based and natural. It doesn't come with the colour you want but at least it is \"safe\" and you are able to cover your grey. It's supposed to thicken & strengthen your hair too. Color is like reddish brown once done.

Although I have heard abt the positive effects of henna, but doesn't it turn the hair colour orangy like??
