After I cracked my Galaxy S3, I called Samsung and was quoted $250 - $300

      to replace the glass.

I checked around and the lowest I got is $150 at a neighbourhood repair shop.

In the end, I got it done in China for RMB200.

I think i was quoted $253 last time when i sent it for repair...plus the samsung people told me warranty doesn't cover for this as its wear and tear or something.

Xin tong leh...just brought like a year then got crack liao :stupid: but i didn't repair at the end cause the crack is at the edge, so screen not affected at all. Whew!

I think it's good to have good screen protector.

I bought this for my ip5s
