2) P.E.T. Parent Effectiveness Training (recommended by one of my super kiasu friend who attends all sorts of parenting seminars)
3) Rasing Boys - Great for moms with little boys

yea all! i have tonnes of parenting books too..kinda of a junkie. i agree like many of the replies that it is fine and RESPONSIBLE to read up and gain perspectives on parenting especially for SAHM....and daddies...

i love parenting books too.

although sometimes very logical, but day-to-day we just miss many things we take for granted.
its good to have a reminder/guide. some books very insightful too.
reading up is a way of improving mah

i do find parenting books to be helpful at times, but it put me to sleep when reading it unlike fiction books…

I’ve read "Children Are From Heaven" by John Gray. It’s quite informative. The author doesn’t believe in spanking children, but rather using time-outs and positive reinforcements. Quite insightful.
