My dd was posted to TKSS too. We went to TKSS open house and he immediately fell in love with the school. So when he was been accepted by TKSS, he was elated. The orientation went on well and he likes the principals and teachers. He needs to travel an hour each to/from school. We did warn home of the travel time before he submits his selection. I guess if you really likes the school, you will be motivated to work harder. What is more important is you are happy and you have taken the distance and travel time into consideration when you make your decisin.

Don forget that JC and university may be far from home too... Just my 2 cents worth.

      Where do you live?

Sengkang. DD will be Sec 2 next year and life is great in TKSS per dd.

        A better tomorrow:

Still no one knows the cop for this year? 😞

I think the cop this year is still unknown.

I know of 1 boy that gets in at 236.
So any dc that gets in at 235 ?

I believed every sec sch should know it since the posting was already out..
I received posting results via SMS from SJI at 10am.. 11am called the school and ask about their COP for this year and the friendly staff answered me on the spot over the phone

By the way, mummies who wish to appeal, you can download the appeal form on TKSS website. Click on the ‘Admission’ tab, the link to the Appeal Form is right at the bottom of the page (after all the information on DSA).

We tried taking NEL den change to circle line at serangoon station to dakota, den take a bus for two stations. Journey was exactly 1 hour. Any other fast routes.

Take NEL line to Serangoon Station and change to CCL, alight at
Dakota Station. Take Exit A and walk to the bus stop, take Bus 16 or 33. Two stops later, alight at bus stop opposite TKSS. May sound like long journey but it wasn't that bad.

Hi, accordingly to my son, journey takes around 45 minutes in the morning. Could it be the frequency of bus is longer during off peak? Anyway, there is bus no 43 and alight at Tanjong Katong Road (near TKGS). The journey is longer due to traffic condition. That said, I guess once you get used to the journey, it should be ok.

Many thanks for your advice. I planned to go there by alighting at Paya Leba station, then take bus and it stops at TKGS. Your information is very helpful and I will alight at Dakota tomorrow for registration. :thankyou:
