Frankly speaking, for past 2 years while DS1 was there, i have no recollection of any unique school rules.


Just the usual on punctuality, 70% white shoes, make sure he has his tie and badge when going to school (Good idea to buy a few each to keep as spare).

As a foot note, my DS used his ties in rotation but still has one or two that need to be discarded after 2 years.

And the meet the parents session is usually on the last day of 2nd term, normally is a whole day affair.

So book your leave if you need to.

And booking a time slot before hand to meet a particular teacher is a must if you don’t want to wait for a long long time for your turn.

Best practice is both parents go for the session, split out and each meet a few teaches, that will really save you a lot of waiting time.

I think the most important is to be aware of why the school (which is a mission school) says all its students should be 'scholars, officers and gentlemen'. The idea comes from the Bible — Jeremiah 9:23-24.

We reported at ACSI this morning. Not that crowded, as feeder schools was completed on Friday.


Heard there was a reduction in the number of IP classes, as we read has been the case for other schools as well. No appeals for IB too. Wonder what happens if boys move out of ACSI IB to other schools like NUSH. Would they then look for the 252 / 251 from the internal students ?? Has this happened before?

We were there before 830 and registration was over within 5 mins. After getting books and uniform, we were out by 9am. Very fast indeed.

Blur me, want to ask, when do we submit the giro, car decal and other forms? Can’t seem to locate the info anywhere or did I miss it? So first day of school got to bring cheque for the fees? And the 6 photos?
