123abc:
What are the school hours for RV...
Sorry, I may not be giving you very accurate info.
For this year 2013, Mon: lessons start around 9am (? pse confirm), Tue - Fri: be in school around 7.30am. -
Does anybody know of any school bus co. that provides transport service from Sembawang to RV?
-
123abc:
That means RV has one class less than the usual 12 classes.WeiHan:
Since to day is already the reporting day, does any one of you knows the cohort size this year?
Apparently there are about 30 pupils in my class and there are a total number of 11 classes if I'm not wrong. Not sure how many people are there in other classes though.

Not that I know of the existence of a school bus that travel between Sembawang and RV.
There is, however, a school bus service from RV to Newton MOELC. -

The new class list for year 3 in 2014 is out.
What is the reason behind? Thought students taking the same subjects would be in the same class but apparently it is not. -

Yes there is. From Sembawang to Woodlands to Marsiling (opposite MRT station) then up BKE, KJE to CCK. Unfortunately I have forgotten the bus company name. Any parent can remember? -

TIA[/quote]Hi. If there are no changes to the timing in 2014, the following should apply:
Mondays: 8.30am to be in the hall, getting ready for flag-raising ceremony.
Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays: 7.30am to be at the field for flag-raising ceremony.
Timetabled CCA sessions fall on Tuesday afternoons and Friday afternoons for Year 1 to Year 4 students, and Wednesday afternoons for Year 5 & 6 students. Of course, some CCAs may have special additional practice days / training days...
So to answer the dismissal time question, it depends on whether your child is having CCA on that day - usually ending around 6pm.
For Year 1 and 2 students, if no CCA on that day, should be able to \"call it a day\" by around 2pm.
Hope this answers your questions! -
This is a note to share some recent observations.
1. The completion of small tutorial rooms on the new 4th floor of the D&T/HE/Year 4 block! The numbering carries on with "Tutorial Room 27", from the 26 tutorial rooms at the Year 5&6 block. This is part of the initiative to implement the tutorial-seminar delivery approach for Year 4 students, which will give them a good start to such delivery manner in preparation of lectures and tutorials in Year 5&6. Does anyone know how many Year 4 classes will there be in 2014?
2. A new room, possibly for the purpose of Career Guidance, will be ready. The room is located beside the Student Lounge. Let’s wait for the school to announce the use of the new room!
3. A new canteen stall selling bread will join the rest of the stalls in providing RV staff and students with affordable, healthy and scrumptious food.
4. There are construction works beside the Multi-Purpose Hall. Not sure what it is about… -
