Thanks brainiac. That's very short including time to buy and eat.
I think for years recess timing had been half an hour. It is much better now compared to our time when the school had recess together. Currently 2 levels are having recess together at any one time. -

Maybe you can enquire from the school.Hi,
Does anyone know the % of p6 students who scored more than 250?

Seems like the school now has many young teachers (those who just graduated from NIE not long ago).

I thought that, to avoid any conflict of interest, teachers are not allowed to be involved in the teaching or grading of their relatives who students in the same school? In the recently announced form/co-form teacher list, one of the Chinese teachers is the co-form teacher of his P4 niece. Usually, if the co-form teacher is a Chinese teacher, he or she also teaches the class Chinese, right? So, is this arrangement allowed? :scratchhead:

Hi,
Anyone can share the Charloette’s Web (P5) the ISBN number if you have purchase? Went to Popular & notice that it is a different publisher. -
Oh will the quality of teaching be affected?

Question: what are the consequences, if any, of switching CCAs after a couple of years? My girl is now in P5 and has wanted to switch for a while. I’m inclined to let her go ahead and try what she feels she likes, though I’d like to know how she’ll be affected with regard to CCA points and all that.

Students taking HCL will attend lesson conducted by the HCL teacher. She will cover both normal Chinese and HCL using the Higher Chinese textbook, and the students only need to buy Higher Chinese Textbooks.
May I know how long is the additional lesson for HCL per week? One hour? Two hours?
