No to worry, the Sultan of Johor would veto it, like what he did in the past.

They have every right to do this.

If they do, it may not be a bad thing for Singapore.

If this is going to happen, it will be half a S$million everyday or S$1.8B for them every year :yikes:

I clicked on the link, the article was published last year, August.

I think they see us like a cash cow and thinking that it is a good time for them to "milk" this cow…

                    This is expected and normal.
Did I read correctly somewhere that Malaysia-registered cars have to pay ?? to come to S'pore? So ours going there is expected to pay too.
                    This is tit for tat.
                    Fair and square.

Singapore trying to limit number of cars choking up roads during peak hours. Malaysia wants more Singaporeans to visit but have to be seen doing something.

Most Singaporeans go to JB for grocery and petrol. Why can’t the government allocate rent controlled space to build even bigger hypermarkets offering free parking? Offer more affordable grocery, milk powder etc. Add some Makan stalls. Save the hassle of levy and time stuck at Immigration. Spend money locally, stay safe and save time.
