By the way, are you referring to LEAP points when you mentioned CIP hours in your post? CIP hours is only one component of LEAP points.

LEAP points is the way MOE count the CCA points for Sec school students. You can google about it.

It is actually very confusing. After my ds finished Sec 4, I still don't understand how it is counted. Luckily the school keeps track of the record and we hardly need to know. We just check the system for an update every year.

Has anybody's DS or DD been taking the AEP program from Year 1? How is this program graded? How is the workload? I know the school will give a detailed talk about it on 6 Jan but just want to check if any parents here have any info to share?

First day is orientation.
Parents are invited too and later have lunch hosted by the parent support group.
Student to bring $30 for the orientation package.
Be in NJC uniform and bring a set of the PE clothes for - orientation!
Be in the school hall by 7.40am, 6 Jan!
