Cos' I cannot use my old route to Suntec now... Have to use below?

KPE - Exit 1 - ECP - Exit 15 - Rochor Road - Temasek Boulevard

What was the old route? Isn't rochor exit right next to suntec?

Previously was like KPE (shorter) - Exit (shorter) - Rochor Road - Temasek boulevard

Now travel longer KPE to join MCE... Almost going to Gardens by the Bay, U-turn to MBS then go to Suntec.
Force me to go sightseeing...

Oh I see...I only used it once straight thru, east to west.


I was at the marina south area last Sat...the roads were still in a mess...and the worst is the lack of landmarks...only saw construction companies site offices so rather to get lost there.

yah…I got conned too…Exit 15 "Rochor" has been migrated to a farther wasteland that overshoots MBS. I cut thru MBS to get to Suntec.

Was cursing at the small yellow makeshift "Rochor" sign near Sheares Ave/Central Blvd.

Now I understand the hoo-haa on the 1st day... All looking for Rochor exit!


Now no jam cos' all avoid MCE... I will too.
But the traffic jam (single lane + road works) towards Nicoll Highway to Suntec is just as bad... :faint:

Yesh, MBS Blvd was quite empty...Do u know Rochor & Sheares Ave/Central Blvd are both ECP Exit 15?!!! so confusing...

yep, that single file is quite terok, that's why I dun take that route anymore.

I think u need to tolerate that for a few years becos they need to divert motorists away from the stretch of Benjamin Sheares Bridge which I heard they will demolish to build condos and offices...

Demolishing Benjamin Sheares Bridge??? What a shame and disappointment? I like to travel on this bridge to see our beautiful skyline.

that’s what I heard from my sources…couldn’t believe it either…the pillars are taking up too much prime land at Raffles/Temasek Blvd. The land can’t be optimised, except to organise River Hongbao yearly. When demolished, that area near to Stadium Cove/Costa Rhu can be developed. And Pit Building can be torn down, and F1 can go home liao…
