now i know i have been conned by the bus operator.
i hv checked with my bus operator (Toa Payoh area), same as Tulip. They'd pick my son from the student care early on Wed n as well Fri, cos tht actually consider as the start of sch time n not the CCA thing, which i believe most bus operator dun \"service\" the CCA timing. tht's why i think the operator \"increases\" the fare due to there're so many timing in a wk of sch 😐

may b u shd check again, as i tot the bus service shd b under control of the main operator, which indirectly shd oblige to serve for KCPPS. cheers!

regarding the pupil's diary...how all parents find it?? working or not??

as at several times, i hv found tht the \"instruction\" is either not clear, or total no-information 😞 for example, on last Fri i found no indication of any sch/homework, but then when i went through wif my son n his books, i realised there actually some homework/worksheet tht he needs to complete ...
is either me dun understand the \"language\" of the teacher(s??) or merely the diary was not being put in full use ...??
so how the teacher make sure tht the msg or information being properly convey?? :?
n i also wonder tht diary is totally under the form teacher care, or all the teachers, as long as they hv some msg to \"send\" for parents ??

school diary for students themselves to write down the homework that they have for the day. or any impt things to remember, e.g. bring $$ to buy books, or bring some items to school next day.

maybe for the younger ones like the P1s, the teacher may write on the board and ask the kids to copy.

if you hv any msg for the teacher, you can write in the sch diary, but u must ask your child to show to the teacher. the teacher can't be checking all the diaries everyday.

            hope this helps.

good or no good is subjective.

Thank you thank you but generally what are the programmes in this school and the stress level of the students academically? I'm keen for my kids to be in KCPS because of it being a missionary school... other than that, i really dun know what to expect... die le next year in K2 and I'm not prepared!

Stress levels typically start maybe at P4. But P5 onwards, it’s really stressful for the top few classes. But from P1 to P3, it is still manageable.

When it comes to pri sch, I’ll look for distance as the main consideration. Cos from P3 onwards, the kids have enrichment / supplementary classes which requires them to stay back. Those taking bus TPT need to pay extra to be fetched back. Sometimes hv to arrange TPT back too.

english speech & drama is compulsory for all the students.
P1&P2 also have gym, chinese calligraphy, etc.
P3 onwards hv eng / chin creative writing / maths olymp

there are learning journeys, camps, etc. These are what i remember off hand.

if you are looking for spiritual enrichment, it being a missions sch, such lessons taught are quite general for obvious reasons. More on moral values / character.
