my maid will buy her flight tix and i will cancel her WP 3 days prior her flight
what else do i need to do?

i trust her and actually it doesnt matter if she is lying
to me, she does her work properly and her contract is ending, she also let me know 10 months in advance for me to do my planning. i think its reasonable
i only need to find out when is the correct time to cancel her WP to discharge me of the bond.

i heard someone telling me that if i cancel the maid WP, i have to send her back to her origin country and not else where..sorry for my ignorance..

Hi Chloecube , no need to go agent, they will charge you money for this, its very simple ,log in with your Singpass account. You will see cancel, then click on cancel work permit, when you enter the flight details etc, there is something there to click on called Special Pass if I am not wrong , but don't worry log in ,and you can read there what to do. its simple

If you still need help, PM me, I will give you my agents' number and she will help you without charging a penny…

that was my concrn too, i had reminded her to check properly and if she is sure to do that
she was quite insistance and trusted her cousin
since she already made up her mind, i cannot stop her
i guess the money is too great for her to reject

Yes, u are suppose to send her back to her country of origin. She can leave for Trinidad after she return home. No choice, better to be safe then sorry.

Perhaps you could email MOM about that. If they reply that it's ok, make sure you don't delete that reply.
I checked their website for you, and instructions there say to send them to their home country.
Personally I think they should allow employers to send the FDW to a different country if the FDW so requests (especially if, like this case, it's a far away country). They probably specify \"home country\" just to prevent employers from dumping the FDW in some nearer country to save on airfare.
But if you're worried, take the safe route...... to home country

One of my neighbour angmo, their filipina got a job in US, and they flew her from Singapore to US direct… lol with a farewell party.

probably i can do that too, she has a close friend working in singapore and her employer son is my kids schoolmate.
will invite them over for a small farewell party
i am gonna miss her, and i will have to start doing housechores

Yup, i agree u should contact MOM since they set the rules, perhaps some exceptions could be made.
My agent had an employer that sent her Indon maid to batam, she met with a bike accident and even tho all documents were cancelled, the Indon embassy contacted the employer. Ur maid may have relatives waiting for her and she may not have told them about Trinidad so if they are waiting and she does not return home, they can hold u responsible for sending her to another county and lodge a complain to their embassy, anyway U have to protect urself too.
i suggest u check ur contract and with MOM too.
