Hi. My daughter has been taking e sch bus no 2 since last year and told me bus aunty don’t allow the girls to eat in the bus and will scold em, sometimes she will smack their arms/hands if she found out they hv been eating or when they drop food crumbs in e bus so e girls have to hide and eat. I’m just wondering if any of your kids experience e same thing with bus no 2. Thanks!

Can anyone feedback if the sch bus ur dd takes has seat belts?

Mspizza does ur bus number 2 has seat belt on?

Is there a regulation or any law that states the buses must have seat belts?
My girl bus has no seat belts. They arranged my girl to sits the first row which the front is just a black board that people board or slight the bus.

Comparing to girls who sit behind, infront of them is a seat which another girl seats.
So in case things happen, at least the seat infront acts as a shield isn’t it?
I told the bus auntie this morning to arrange my girl sit behind but she gave me a vague reply "eh…but she sits here" and I said the bus has no seat belts! Worrying!
Then she said don’t worry lah.

So when things sway sway touch wood happens, is she going to be responsible? Is the bus transport responsible? Is the driver responsible?
                Not very happy with it.
One of the upper pri girl said she was told seat belts will be fixed a week later but none. And the sch P has been reminding the girls to wear seat belts.

Hi Ryes, is bus no. 2 a mini bus?

I believe it’s compulsory for all mini buses to be fitted with seat belts. You may want to feedback to the school or bus company.

The mini bus that my daughter is on has no bus auntie.

Hi super busy mum (I like ur nick!)

My girl is not on bus 2. She’s on bus 8 and is not mini bus.
It’s those huge bus that can accommodate 30-40 kids type.
Hence I don’t think the law states it’s mandatory to retrofit seat belts lor!

I understand from my other gf fr other sch whose girls are on mini bus also has no auntie.

Hi. According to her, bus no 2 does have seat belt and all of em are required to fasten up. Hers is not e small bus but e big one. You may refer to this link for more info - http://www.spf.gov.sg/mic/2011/111223_seat_belt.htm

Anyone has dd in p5 last year? Would appreciate it if you could share what the Malacca trip was like. Did they stay in hotel, hostel or dormitory? If hotel, was it two to a room or three? Can choose roommate or teacher assign? Roommate from same class or from different class?

                        Thanks in advance!
