Hi MamababyfaceHi everyone.
Looks like I am not the only one having a hard time deciding on math tuition class.
My son is in p6 next year. so i m very 'kan cheong'
Had 1-1 tuition before but not effective.
I had shortlisted Concept Math and Visible Math/On sponge.
Both of them focus on problem sums.
I am still undecided and had been looking to mommies sharing fr more info.
However, after reading, i get even more confuse w so many other options like JEI PSLE, Mind stretcher
Wish all of us good luck in getting a good English/Math/Sci/CL ctr for our precious children
I am in the same situation as you. However my girl hates math.
I am really confuse as to which math enrichment program to enroll.

You may read about my good review on mrtanclass

I heard quite gd reviews on sakamoto from friends. I would like to try out sakamoto for my primary. 2 son on maths problem sums. Any parents out there interested to start a class for Saturdays or Sundays afternoon class 2.15 to 3.45pm. Let me know. I can ask them to start a class if there are 4 students minimum. It must be the same pri.2 level. It will be at tpy branch, hdb hub. Email me at if interested.

Does anyone have any feedbacks for S.A.M. (seriously addictive math)? Sorry if this was asked before, but I did a search and nothing informative came out. Heard good things about JEI but their centres are quite few and rather out-of-the-way for me. Many thanks in advance for sharing! :salute:

Hi!Hi
I am a desparate parent of a primary 3 kid. She has been having her maths 1:1 tuition with a private tuitor (who also teaches English & Science) but the maths results seems moderate.
We are thinking it might be a problem of specialization. But there are numerous maths enrichment centers each boasting their mights. Can any experienced mums or dads provide some guidance and past experience? :?
thanks.
Sometimes it is a matter of understanding the \"learning gaps\" as well as the \"learning style\" of the student. It is possible that there are some gaps in the understanding of some foundation concepts which then might result in a struggle with the application of the concepts learned.
Pls see our link or send us an email- happy to do an assessment or have a chat with you if that might help in any way.
thanks

-

Kind of new to this...any idea what math centres I can consider for P3 and P5? Preferably in the east side..
Mathshub? Kent Ridge tutors?
These are the only good ones i know which have multiple branches over singapore (including east). -
