All About Full-Time Maids

Best is not allow transfer at all…they just move from one place to another at their whim and fancy wasting our time and money!

Totally right. Agents are more than happy to receive return maids for transfer. Returned maids have to pay 2mth salary (~$1K) as punishment and new employer pay the usual agency fee ($288 or watever). So you can see a lot of motivation and incentive for asking u to return maids and getting lousy maids in so that they get transfer often.I did call up MOM, they also mentioned that we can cancel the maid work permit from WP online. Around 30 mins to 1hr time we can print out the special pass letter. This letter we need to pass it to the officer that stand at the gate. The work permit need to pass it back to the MOM work permit counter. This is the info I got from the MOM officer.
Btw, as long as we give enough time for the maid to keep their things and bring them to airport safely. That will do. We don't need to give any advance notice for the maid. Those agency just want us to bring back the maid to them co's they can earn agent fee from other employer again. -
Any tips to prevent maids from hiding in the toilet and using their handphone for a long time?

lol, every time your maid go toilet, take note how long she spend inside and how many times a day she goes inside lol… funny right, but no choice
tell her to put her HP outside in front of you then enter toilet
LASTLY, if maid still going on with her mobile toilet habit, take it away from her. -
Would you keep a stubborn overly experienced maid? She is good at cooking but not dilligent with kids. I have a tod who needs to empty his bladder every hour due to his past medical history, but she keeps forgetting to bring him to the loo. reminded her upteen times and got her a notebook to write down the timings so that she can remember the last timing but she didnt use it. fabricated timings at the end of day just to show the entries to me.

Did you state your house rules on her first day? -

When all my kids are in school, I don't mind they hide in toilets to take a break. But if I am rushing for sch bus, I'll shout & get them out if they are too long in toilets. :mad:TheAnswer:
