Hi,


Is there an Chinese composition marking scheme that lists what are the checkpoints to achieve certain marks - or perhaps a range of samples with their grades - to allow us to distinguish between a poor one from a good one, or from a good one to an even better one.

For Q9, both 误会 and 错怪 are acceptable; I will say 错怪 will be more appropriate.

Base on your answer, I think you are referring to Q12; the answer should be 问世 (问世 = 一种新产品初次推出市场）， 产生 is 'produce' while 诞生 = born.

I got it confused too. For the moment I thot it mentioned due to he being 热情 he made friends with anybody, so that included 穷人. Because of making friend with 穷人 he gathered a lot of writing material and that lead to him writing about them later on.

It depends on how you look at it. So answer could be 1 or 4.

The way I understand this passage, is to learn about how to write, by taking note of what one sees, hears. The passage uses Jack as an example. Therefore the focus is on how he disguised as a poor sailor to talk to people whom he met in the shelter and the park in the day time. In the night time, he wrote down what he saw and heard. From this description, we know that his true identity is a professional writer or author. In paragraph 3, the word poor sailor is also in quotation marks.

Therefore, Q26 is to test the student's ability to understand Jack's objective of making friends with the poorer people.

If the question is asked the other way around: “穷人为什么要跟杰克做朋友？”then the answer would be 1, because 穷人don't know his true objective, but only because Jack appears to be very friendly.
