Some have already been accepted. Admissions can last up till July, so dont hold your breath. There is an appeal process, it opens around the first batch of rejections. Acceptance usually streams in trickles but rejections usually come in batches.

If there is more than one course option submitted n the acceptance is not first choice, will there be rejection notice? In this case can still appeal for the first choice ?

AFAIK, it's YES for both.

My view is that yllsom may choose to have students who have a good grasp of chinese, so I am just worried that my C5 this time round would place me in a disadvantage (when I apply to yllsom as this C5 would be reflected as a D) since an A would be preferred.

If that is true then why MOE gives exemption to take H1 Chinese in jc years for all who attain just a pass in o level higher Chinese?

Good question. How about those are not even qualify to take o level higher MT? How does the score of H1Chinese which is easier to score put them in better position ?

HCL result will only help in UAS ( uni admission score) computation if u get an A, but it's very mimimal
I :gloomy: t will ONLY be computed if it raises the applicant's UAS...otherwise, not included in the computation...
U juz need to meet the min requirement for MTL for uni entry....

Any JC2 parents? Can share share your experience and feeling as a JC2 parent now. What kind of supports that you still render to your dc? What are the import dates to look up for this year till ‘A’ level results out? (sound familiar during PSLE …).
