I would recommend you to look for a 1-1 tutor instead of tuition centre (if you have no financial constraints).


I put my dd in Aspen but she didn't benefit from it. So I got her a private tutor instead. Her grade improved after that.

Appreciate all your suggestion & advice. I didnt send my gal for tuition since she started DHS as I thought as long as she pay attention in class, she will manage (and this is what her form teacher always tell me). Maybe I was wrong or maybe it is my gal that her results for maths deteriorated.I heard of Aspen but some of her classmates who attended there claimed they did not really benefit from them & they have all opted out of the tuition centre. Maybe I can try to register her for Aspen & will see how it goes. Meanwhile if you folks have any good math tuition tutors, would appreciate that you PM me.

Learning Integrity and Service for Life through Sports
Each year, the Sportsmanship Award is given to athletes who best exemplify the attributes of character, integrity, and sportsmanship at the NSG. Amidst the nominations and recommendations of worthy awardees, I am heartened to hear of a badminton player from Dunman High School.

During a nail-biting, high-stakes doubles match at the National Inter-School Badminton Championships, Ngee Ann Secondary smashed the shuttlecock out of play, and the umpire awarded the point to Dunman High. As everyone readied for the next rally, one of the players from Dunman High walked up to the umpire and explained that he had touched the shuttle before it went out of play - an honourable act of admission that took everyone by surprise! The umpire reversed his decision and awarded the point to Ngee Ann Secondary. The player’s integrity and action so touched the student athletes and teachers of Ngee Ann Secondary, that they gave him a rousing round of applause. Ngee Ann Secondary eventually won the match, and they wrote in to Dunman High to strongly request that the player be nominated for the Sportsmanship Award. This player was Lee Tai Yu.

DHS P and Ts must be v happy that their teachings on the sch Motto : Honesty, trustworthiness, moral courage and loyalty 诚，信，勇，忠 do get into their students' heads....

My dd faced difficulty in Math until we engaged Ms Elena from Aspire Hub Education to coach her. It helped her greatly.

You may want to google Aspire Hub and call up for a free trial. They have a few branches but Ms Elena teaches in Nex and Bedok branch, not sure about other branch.

I am asking whether there are any shower cubicles apart from the one in the ISH toilets as my DS is in a sports CCA and would like to shower in school before going home. He does not like to use the ISH toilets as it is pretty crowded there. Thanks in advance for answering my question.
