Which country/place is suitable for 60/70-year-olds

There are many countries that is suitable for the elderly.


When we go for holidays , why do we feel exhausted after coming back?

Because being Kiasu , we want to visit all the attractions , get the most out of the money spent...

Relax do not aim to do so many attractions within a fixed time, any country will be suitable.

Select the country to visit . Book a hotel. Check In . Book the local day tour...
Or go for a Cruise.

I think Cruise for the Elderly is fun. Each time when the Ship Docks at a Port, they can join the local day tour.

This is my dream when I retire... :evil:

Thanks! I heard that going on a cruise is about eating non-stop so it wasn’t on the list for consideration. Now that my parents are older, it does seem to be a viable option.

try taking them to Macau. It's 24/7, can wake up and sleep anytime. Larger casino hotels are self-contained, so guests can do everything under 1 aircon roof without changing hotel. If bored, can cross the Strip to visit other hotels/casinos next door. Plenty of Chinese food to eat. Got foot reflexology too.

I kinda think Perth will be a great place for them to visit. You can choose to stay near the casino where they can go and visit. The pace of living is generally slow and everyone drives slowly. I was scolded by my DH when I tried to overtake and honk at a car. It is very rude to do so. You can choose to visit wineries too.

On cold winter, I go to casinos for free hot chocolate. On hot summer days, I go for free chilling beers. There you go, casinos doesn't mean gambling!

hello dear, u gg to macau? i like macau very much...u can book one of those integrated resort hotels at Cotai strip such as The Venetian, Galaxy (Banyan Tree), City of Dreams, Sheraton, Grand Hyatt, Holiday Inn, etc. You can leave your tofu boy with the seniors and go check out the slot machines with your hubby after 9pm:)

there're many shoppes (from luxury to high street brands) inside The Venetian. There's even a big foodcourt there which sells affordable makan. I went to another foodcourt at City of Dreams too...all adjoining...Also, there are many seasonal shows to watch inside The Venetian, which I think tofu boy will enjoy. Can take the gondola ride with him. there's a Qube playground, like KidzAmaze, to keep kids at bay too.

From your hotel in Cotai, you may take shuttle bus to Da San Ba/St Paul's ruins/Senado Square to jalan and makan. Used to go there to buy my 钜记 but no need liao. Singapore also has And there's an outlet inside The Venetian as well.

If you are adventurous you may hop on a public bus to Taipa Village to visit the Taipa Portuguese villas and cathedrals by the seacoast. Walk from Cotai Strip is possible but 15min-tiring.

Macanese cuisine is really yumz! Every time I was there, my Macau friend would take me to this restaurant called O Porto Interior. It's a lao zi hao in Macau, but now it's been eclipsed by other new Portuguese restaurants. It is in downtown Macau. Dun forget to boy Lord Stow's egg tarts. It's got a cafe inside The Venetian.

You could choose to stay in downtown Macau peninsula too, i.e. near to Senado Square, the HK Ferry terminal, Yaohan Macau, Lisboa, Wynn, Sands Macau...Downtown hotels are fairly cheap but not in the heart of action.

Agree with porky pig. IRs are for young and old. It's a good getaway for pp with just 3D2N. Cheap airfares too.
