Yes. Just realise. It is still far......
1st runner up is for the west zone NOT national... National level games have not started yet.WeiHan:
Congratulation to the C division badminton boys for winning 1st runner up, first time in history, in the National interschool games.
It is significant as i think it is the first time that RV boys has perform this well in a competitive sports at the National level. Although, Wushu has the champion last year but I see Wushu as more \"static\" games. -
Tmrw is e learning day for all students.

Yup and thanks for the reminder. -
River Valley High School Integrated Programme graduates have continued to perform well in the GCE ‘A’ Levels Examination. The school’s small cohort of 415 students produced 68 students with 6 or more distinctions.
NJC 108 students scored 6 distinctions or more from ~750 students . -

The C Boys were West Zone champions for the past 2 years and I think they emerged National 3rd in 2012 too

I notice RV’s A level results has been declining since the first two batches of stellar performance. I think the school should really find out the reason as there is no excuses why subsequent batches cannot perform as well as the first two batches.
I have impression that RV is weaker in humanities subjects, so it is really high impact to really put in more effort in this area. Most RV students do not know how to find examples and research additional materials for humanities, thus maybe the teachers should put abit more effort in the notes? -

Fully agreed. RV humanities are weak. RI and HCJC provide very good notes in most of their subjects. Their revision package provided are good.I notice RV's A level results has been declining since the first two batches of stellar performance. Just noticed that there are quite a no. of the students failed GP, if I am not wrong(pls correct me if I am wrong). I feel really sad for them.

Fail GP? The first two batches passing rate for GP were 100% (or 99.7% to be exact).
I think is too far off to compare with RI and HCI lah. Even Dunman High and NJC has done much better this year. Dunman High economic dept has realised their weakness and has been adding alot of notes in the last two years. -

I concurred, especially noting that the cohort size is rather small (415 vs 1239, unconfirmed) as compared the RI's.I notice RV's A level results has been declining since the first two batches of stellar performance.
