      Andaiz/Carebear,

I used to stay around Coronation, so going to Alan Optics was the most convenient for me. Had a pair of glasses made there and I’m still wearing it now (after 10 years). Alan told me it’s outdated but I told him I wear it only at home.

Went to Optical 88 to get another pair done 2 years back, but it wasn’t comfortable. Brought it to Alan to change to transition lenses and adjust the frame.

Hmmm...could he have meant that the degrees may have changed? :?

My sons had glasses fitted at Alan once but their range is limited so we’ve moved to Mee Mee at Bukt Timah plaza. Wider range and staff are very friendly. We see David Chong who’s very qualified n experienced n very friendly too. David’s the president of the Singapore Optometric Association.

I am attendg classes & can't see well after getting current specs replaced last yr. Truthfully speakg, I am a little afraid that my eyesight might hv worsen. Tks for yr input.

Hi, if you are in the east, i would recommend you to go to Tampines central, vision style. The lady boss there is super good. I have been with them for 10 yrs already 🙂 Good consultation, no obligation, fabulous customer service.

I wonder if anyone has any feedback on Nanyang Optical? I need to bring my dd for further eye-check based on result from her school check.
