Is it true that Sengkang CC has to pre-register and on waiting list for at least 1 year? Any good CC to reccomend for Sengkang area as well?

Today is 6th day of my son in Ci Ai education incubator. So far ok. The teachers are caring. He eats the food there n quite likes it. They serve vegetarian only but the variety is gd. But sigh, he’s still crying everyday although his teacher said he’s getting better n joined in the painting n music activities today. I was wishing for one day when he’ll happily tell me he wants to go to school.

In any childcare that you are considering, safety is of utmost importance. Do a safety audit of the entire environment including the classroom. I posted about a bad accident that happened to my girl's finger to warn parents out there in the following link. You must ensure that all doors and windows have safety guards!

Hi all,


My husband and I are considering changing childcare for our kids as:

(1) We’re not too happy with our kids’ current school since the change of its management this year; and
(2) I plan to take a break from work for a bit and possibly convert to working part-time when I do go back to work (can’t afford to become SAHM permanently), hence want to move the kids to a school that is nearer to home (we stay near Buangkok MRT station).

As I don’t like the schools around Buangkok MRT Station area and they are all full to overflowing anyway, I have researched and shortlisted the following childcares:

- School House by the Garden @ Phillips
- Sheffield Kidsworld (SengKang)
- The Sunbird Child Development Centre
- Learning Kidz Educampus Pte Ltd
- Cherie Hearts @ Northstar
- Cherie Hearts @ SK

Any feedback for any of the above list of centres are much appreciated.
