Me Time!

did revision from mon to thur…yesterday was play day.
hubby brought daughter to jcube to ice skate…daughter came home with no scratches, but hubby fell on his bum 6 times and palms are swollen…blue black today. daughter wants to skate again but daddy said NO. -
ME time just now: napped the whole afternoon after a heavy lunch at JCube.

Just sharing…been catching up on movies recently as part of ME time with hubby.
Among all, I find ‘12 years as slave’, ‘The book Thief’ and '‘Lone survivor’ , quite entertaining and meaningful. Moving on to ‘Blue Jasmine’ soon… -
Lone Survivor was indeed interesting & very thought provoking. I jumped a few times in my seat and squirmed during the aiyoh-that-looks-like-it-hurts parts. The story invokes thoughts on rules of engagement. Rules are rules. May be understood on paper and theory but in that reality crunch, a person’s gotta do what a person’s gotta do.
A good story of survival not just between mates but band of brothers… and that not all are extremists though deemed so just because they share the same race or religion.
There are good people in the world. -

actually he has a dept gathering at ice skating rink next week and yesterday was to have a feel...he cannot escape next week's event...when he fell, the staff on duty helped him up. good luck to him next week.janet_lee88:

father & daughter went around the perimeter...then daughter decided to move away and he followed...then it was fall after fall. until now, the palms are still red and a little sore. by the time they recover, next round
