We had 2 reunion dinners; one on Friday and one on Saturday. Nothing really special as both dinners are among close immediate family members that we meet every weekend.

Wah your family is really closely-knitted. Meet every weekend and still chiong to do 2 reunions.. *thumbs up*

immediate family ... has to be close right? 😄

Looks like my family is so non traditional!

Every year, my in- laws, including sisters in-laws come over to my place for reunion dinner, then my parents will come at another round.
They rather have this arrangement cos i have a maid, whereas they don’t.
My parents visit me rather than i visit them, cos they don’t like visitors to their small home!

You are unique in many ways and if it works for you, I think it is great!
I think the venue is not the issue, what's important are all the people that turned up which you get them all! :celebrate:

This year, my fil’s family went to my parents’ place for the reunion dinner. My sister and her husband took charge of the food. My husband and I took care of the expenses needed.

All of us have a fun time.

Since 2 years ago, I started teaching dd on the preparation of our 2 signature dishes. Last year and this year, she even cooked one of the dish on her own, under my supervision and instruction. She also helps out in the washing up. I strongly feel that, she must master our signature dishes and pass it on ..... 😄 家传菜
