Lester had some toy animals. If he put them into groups of 5, he would have 2 toy animals left over. .
If he put them into groups of 7, he would be short of 3 toy animals. What is the smalles.t number of toy animals he could have?

i have a qn hope someone can help.

Bobby places 12 cards on a table. Each card is either red or black in colour. If the fraction of black cards is 7/12, what is the smallest number of additionals cards that Bobby needs to put on the table so that the fraction of black cards becomes 5/8 ?
