      sleepy:

Not my dh. He said he is going to play golf everyday at retirement.
He met a few retirees at golf course. They really play golf everyday, in Singapore & Malaysia.

Absolutely NO way I'm letting him play golf everyday :skeptical:
Looking at my mum and dad after Daddy retired, I think I will encourage DH to play golf everyday. Better still go for overseas golf trip, once a month. Well maybe just save 1 day a week to go jalan jalan or for family matters.

Why not? My father did just that - retired and golfs almost every day. I feel he could more usefully have done other things with his time (not to earn money, more as a contribution to society), but that was his choice. Frankly, I think my mother prefers him to golf daily as he will interfere with her housekeeping too much if he hangs around at home all day. He's home in the afternoons and evenings anyway.

Why NO way, sleepy? I recall reading you didn't quite like it when he played golf during early days when your girls were younger because he occupied a lot of time golfing than with the family. But after he slogged all those years to retirement, he still won't be able to get his deserved full-me-time, golfing?

sleepy: go pick up golf too...can play with DH everyday in your twilight years.

Active ageing is very impt for old folks. Either you pick up a sport or hobby or skill, or stay at home to take care of your grandkids!

My dad is playing golf nearly everyday now!

But with her whole closet of sunblocks, she'll be alright!

Can wear those sun sleeves or just fly to a cold place to tee off:)
