How is your boy taking to the new member of the family??

He's not really jealous (I think). Rather it seems like we are giving him pressure coz everytime we will be reminding him not to shout or scream as sis is sleeping. Probably a lot of no no for him. I try to cut down on that. Other than that he's fine.

Get your DS involved in caring for his dear sis by letting him help get ready her stuff for bath or keep an eye on her while she's sleeping etc. Praise him for doing a good job. He'll be proud to be given such responsibilities and love being the elder brother. This will last a lifetime and leave no room for jealousy.

I’m trying at the moment but guess he’s still young (2 years old) to understand fully. He did help me to pick up booties/mittens etc. Taking things slowly.


The most headache one is his screaming & crying, wabiang!
