Just fyi, for those who have kids in p3, class 3R6, note that form teacher who is in charged of 3 subjects, (english, maths, science), is on mc for 1mth, since end of march..

Am bit disappointed that There was no formal official notification from school..
& I heard about it from classmate's mum..
Asked my girl, she said 'oh! Need to tell u??' 😞
      I scolded her for this..
So I think school should have notified parents on such long leave, esp in this case, by the time Form teacher is back, SA1 exam starting. .
& noticed that for past 2wks, not much/even NO homework given by relief teacher..
Just sharing, in case some parents are unaware..
      No flaming, pLEase!!
      Thanks!!

(If not, this will be my LASt sharing...thanks!)
Oh dear. Is the relief teacher another permanent teacher from the school? For my dd's class, they got a new CL permanent teacher (another existing ph CL teacher) to take over the class when their original CL teacher went on long mc before Term 1 break.

          Nope…

from what I know, relief teacher is not a permanent teacher in PH…unless DD’s info is incorrect…

            Hi cool_hi,

You have been very sweet to share such important info...you deserve a 💋 parents of the class mentioned will be able to plan something at home since it is a relief teacher and this 1 month is a very crucial period.

Hihi, the P1s are going for their first excursion next week - to the zoo! My dd's class is so excited about it 🙂

Yup. Dd is going but I thought last year DS went to the zoo for P3 excursion?
I asked if she is excited. She gave me a sad look and replied that she is worried it might rain on that day. 😆 aiyo..

Hi, my boy from 3R6. Just found out today that he has relief teacher and form teacher (EL, MA & SC) is on 1mth mc. I was shocked.
U are right, no wonder there isn't much homework and felt that lessons will not be on track to meet SA1 timeline
                    :xedfingers:

                        bgmum,

better to get a small bottle of ‘off’ spray…tell your child to apply on legs and face before getting down from the bus.

                        taz,
relief teachers hardly teach as they do not know where to continue.
