I wonder how is the Project Comp being graded? Does it contributed to the MSG or it is just graded with Distinction / Merit / Pass?

I think it goes towards their scholastic MSG, not academic. but still must pass. I think the project comp is part of the Independent Studies grade - A1, A2 etc. don’t think it’s Distinction/Merit/Pass.

Thinking of booking for tour in Dec but not sure if Sec 1 students has any CCA in Dec holiday? Or do they require to go back to school in Dec?

He's definitely happy there but I think he is having a bit of difficulty with ELL and HCL. Seems to be managing ok with the other subjects.

Guess we will find out after this round of tests. I'm looking forward to the SLF heh.

My boy is also enjoying school and the curriculum, he finds his classmates fun-loving. He is very busy and needs to stay back everyday except Thursday. There seems to be many projects work the past few weeks and he wasn't able to manage his time very well initially but gets better each day, I guess this is a great learning process.

Ds also finds English very challenging, rest of the subjects seem okay.

Applemummy, is your ds in Sec 1 too? How is he doing?

Yes he is, he is still coping although he is a bit stress out. still trying to adapted to the the new environment n teaching style.
