      sail fish:
Are there any commercially sold past year secondary school 2013 papers? They are few and far between.

My son is in Sec 1 this year and wanted him to have a feel of the papers that is expected of him. I have seen many generous people offering their past year papers to others. If I could get all the subjects from location in 1 place, soft copy or hard copy with all answers would really help him moving to the new syllabus.

Anyone has this lobang? Been around shop selling with not much luck. Even free download has not come easy as well.

      Thank you for the help.
      Hi,

The school teachers should print for them past years papers from the school for them to practise. The papers will be from their own school or from schools with similar standard - and the topics covered are the same.

Papers from other schools at Lower sec level is not encouraged because of the different standard. This is not Primary school anymore.
All Secondary schools set their own standard - and it takes an experienced teacher to filter the \"correct\" questions for them to do.

It does not mean that papers from \"BIG\" schools are better - if the topics and the depth are not the same as your child's school.

Take an example - the lower sec science question for a school like SCGS is similar to a Sec 3 level question - but this is definitely not suitable for a student from a more neighborhood school.
And even so, the neighborhood schools' standard can vary - it all depends on the direction and the standard the school sets.

So please exercise care when giving them papers from other schools.

      Just my 2 cents worth.

      Mr. Matthew Ng

Hi fellow parents, may I know if there is any website that offers completely free exam papers for Secondary maths and science?

Exams is starting in a few days’ time, and I would like my kids to practise with papers from other schools.

P.S: I searched a lot of websites, such as joss-sticks, etc. They only have samples, or require me to pay. Does anyone know where I can download ACTUAL school papers for free? Hehe.

Free actual exam papers from various schools. No virus, whatsoever.

Chanced upon it when I bought some books from them. Pretty good with plenty of memory techniques and examples.

For humanities, I think you may need to buy.
