      I was an ex NHrian.

Well, Mr Foo (or we should address him by DOCTOR Foo)–just wanted to get the heck out of NH and into a better school. He didn’t flat out say it, but it’s obvious.
Firstly, he went to China for like half a year. Yup, we did not see our dear principal for HALF A WHOLE YEAR!! Thank goodness we have like THREE vps (being sarcastic). He went there to "further his studies and get a PhD" so that he can be called "a doctor", and get more credentials.
Then, he hired many PRC scholars. This started when he became our principal. So 30+ a year, with 90% of them getting 6 for L1R5, of course our school’s band will become 1, since band 1 is just L1R5 less than 11.
Even though anyone not from the 3 best classes probably got more than 11–from what my friend said.
And now, Foo is in DHS, and he had not returned ONCE. Yeah, how much he cared for us.
And he’s really lame, forcing girls to tie plaits, and all he can boast about NH is the SAP thing and the cleanest toilets. Like so what, who cares? He’s also very informal and slack. The new p is stricter. I mainly don’t like her because she was from a neighbourhood school.

I hope he will not implement tying of plaits. It’s a very primary school thing. Besides the girls will look funny in them. Very chin-na? I will call school up to complain if he does it…

The Singapore Chemistry Olympiad (SChO) is participated by only JC students. It is unlike the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad (SMO) where even the Sec 1s can take part in the Open Section (for up to JC2 level). So none of RGS students has participated in the competition.

If you look at the list, you will notice that only JCs and IP schools with 6-year programme (e.g. RI, RV, NUS High) are listed. I think DHS is the only IP school that is not listed, so I won't blame r.clarking for feeling disappointed.

RGS is with RI(JC) in Year 5 and 6.
