It's ok. RGS also not found on the list...
The Singapore Chemistry Olympiad (SChO) is participated by only JC students. It is unlike the Singapore Mathematical Olympiad (SMO) where even the Sec 1s can take part in the Open Section (for up to JC2 level). So none of RGS students has participated in the competition.
If you look at the list, you will notice that only JCs and IP schools with 6-year programme (e.g. RI, RV, NUS High) are listed. I think DHS is the only IP school that is not listed, so I won't blame r.clarking for feeling disappointed. -

Hi parents,
anyone went to the school to pick up your kids after CCA? Did you take a glance at the noticeboard? How did the kids do fare for "A" levels? Any findings to share?
thanks -

Saw from the notice board that there are 19 students >= 7 distinction. There are a few (can't remember 2 or 4) that scored 8 distinction. Is this good or bad compared to the other top JCs such as RI and HCI?Hi parents,

2 or 4 scored 8 distinctions? Do you know out of how many students?

HCI has 50 scored 8 distinction out of 1100 students.
RI has 84 scored 8 distinction out of 1200+ students. (both according to their published news) -

I am not sure it is correct to compare to other JC directly since DHS has a much smaller A level cohort than these JCs.
However, if there are 2-4 with 8 distinctions and 19 students with more than 7 distinctions, the result is worse than last year. DHS has approximately 200 students taking a level for the previous result compare to may be 450 students for the present cohort. And last year, they already produce more than a handful with 8 distinctions with such a small cohort.
