Heloo! I am also new in this forum, a daddy of a girl born 2009.
I would support registration for P1 for 2009 intake is this year in Jul-Sep right?
I actually live right within 1km of St Hilda, and like everyone here, i would love to place my kid there.
however, i have also shortlisted Poiching as another choice..
I would like to seek advise, should I go for St Hilda's or just skip and go for PoiChing?
I'm afraid that even though I live nearby St Hilda, I might not get the slot and end up in some duno-what school and even lose poiching as a choice.
Looking forward to hearing from all of you! thanks!alice118:

Hi I am buying house in Bedok central area, i would like to enroll my son in St Hilda or Temasek, but both are out of 2KM range. How about the balloting chances for this two schools under SC>2KM category. Should i compete in these schools are try any other schools.

More than 2km = don't waste time for the 2 schools that you mentioned. You won't even get a whiff. -

Under Phase 2C -
the 2 schools you mentioned : SC balloted, less than 1 km.
Under Phase 2B -
Temasek : SC balloted, > 2 km. -

This year P1 registration is for kids born in 2008 and 1st Jan 2009 inclusive.
So if your child is not born 1st Jan 2009, your child's P1 registration will only be next year. -
Hi,
can i check, based on the above posting, for phase 2C, both Temasek and St Hilda need to ballot even for within 1km.
how about phase 2B ?
if within 1 - 2km, does it need to ballot too ?
appreciate the response, thanks !
