        Referring to query by Carlin

\"Can someone tell me if online registration is safe or should I go to the school personally to register for phase 2c?\"

Is online registration starting on 29th? I read from MOE site it's starting on 31st? Which one is correct?

I personally feel that it's better to go down to the school for registration rather than via online.

You get a feel of how it goes and the atmosphere.

It's a good time to look at the school compound too.

We can never experience this via on line.

        Good luck !

Agree I also thinking of going to register in the school but should be doing on 1 Aug so got long weekend. Here I somehow don't trust online till now. Btw can I ask do Both parents need to be there to register or I can go alone and just bring Hubby's ic with me?

based on figures so far -

3 full schools : MGS, SCGS, Maris Stella manage to escape 2A2 balloting

Ai Tong, Red Swastika, Fairfield Methodist also escape.

Nope. Once you have registered, details of your child would have been captured in MOE's system. You will then have to go through balloting. Failing at this stage would mean you have to apply under Phase 2C(S).

However, you can decide on the last day of P2C registration (based on vacancies available by enquiring from the school) and make an informed decision as to which of your preferred school has a \"higher\" chance.

Oh...didn't realize that! I thought I could register at sch A on 1st day of 2c, monitor and should it have high chance of balloting then I withdraw and register on 3rd day at sch B. No???

Thank you. So I can change schools even after registering if i do so before the last day 1st August. There is only 1 school within 1km from me and i am assuming it will probably have to ballot even with 20 places, the other school is between 1-2km but also might have to ballot in 2C(S). Dilemma.

That would mean he/she would have registered her child at the close of P2C.

As for your case, you are considering your options during the 3 days registration period for P2C.
