        i think for 2A2, if they haven’t registered by noon, it’s unlikely they would show up in the afternoon, dun u think?

        2A2 Day 2 is for those who could be overseas/attending impt mtgs on Day 1, or still monitoring and calculating their risks last night…

        hmmm…

          pirate:
          Radin Mas originally had 330 places. In the last few years, this was cut to 300, then 270, and finally to 240. Same for Yu Neng, from 270 to 240 to 210 to 180.

          Good investigative work 🙂 But it's not a final number. The 330 was the Dragon babies year. I'm sure we'll see the number of places offered going up again starting next year.

            Report on 2a2 balloting;

            http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/sin ... 64246.html

            MOE should look at how to make every school not only a Good school but Popular school too...then parents do not need to stresssss

            So, MOE should change the slogan :-
            \"Every school is a Popular, good school !\"

            Just wondering if more changes will come up in next month National Day Rally speech... :evil:

              If you think like my wife, you'd be registering 5 mins before closing. Mrs CKS is famous for her tardiness. Fortunately, not everyone is Mrs CKS 🙂

                  May be a certain percentage will be more appropriate than 40 seats. For Radis Mas, 40 seats represent 22% of total available vacancy but only 10% for NYPS...big different...

                      You have a point there. I have been wondering about the rationale of using absolute numbers rather than percentages. Actually, using absolute numbers works better in cases where the total number of places being offered is lower. That's when the number 40 really bites. So that could be the thinking behind the rule.
