      rgmummy:
Hi Timtim and Lukemummy, thank you both so much for your advice. Yes, I'm in a way considered luckier than some parents.... Would have to reconsider for my son's enrollment now. However, this would also mean that I will to put my daughter in another school and it may be cumbersome to fetch and send them to school daily esp in P3 onwards when they have CCAs in diff schools. Hmmm, I guess we can't have best of both worlds.

All schools the same, in terms of stress level. NCPS is pretty ok in my view. Put kids first in considering your options, distance is one and they may be tired out or left little time for other things. As you said, come P3 with CCA, logistics may be a headache. NCPS is getting better in terms of workload for students. My son in P4 this year. He used to have lots of homework daily in P1/2, but not anymore now. Maybe sch has changed policy after hearing parents' feedback or maybe it's MOE's direction.

            Most probably yes.

I bought RiverSound last year and plan to move in next year. I checked and found out that North Vista Primary is the nearest school, my son is 4 years old now and 2016 he should be in primary school. I am very worry about my son because:

              1. I don’t know when should I register for my son for the enrollment?
              2. My house has not TOP yet. I do not have an address to register.
              3. Do I need to do parent volunteer for North Vista Primary?

              Appreciate your advice …

Hi, just wondering, anyone has any idea if NCP had any PV last yr? i.e. they would be in phase 2b for this year registration?

Just wondering what sort of take up rate would it be for this year phase 2b for NCP... calculating my chances currently... 🙂

Yes there was PV last year, but I’m not sure how many PV were accepted.

                    Hi all,

Just to check if anyone can advise between Compassvale Pri and Rivervale Pri?

I am undecided between the both.

And I stay within walking distance. Except that Rivervale Pri is just a litte bit further to walk - not much.

Oh no dunno how…next week alr still cannot decide.

Based on past history, if you want higher chances to get in at 2C then go for Compassvale. Rivervale will definitely ballot for Sc within 1km. Compassvale may not need to ballot. Even if ballot your chances are much better than Rivervale. Not sure how to paste the url but you can see balloting history of sengkang schools on 1st pg of this topic. There is a link at the top.

School wise I am not sure. I just know after nan chiau, rivervale n north vista is next most popular.

We are enrolling our little gal to Springdale Pri.

Getting excited for Phase 2C!! :imcool:

Is it necessary for the child to be at the school during registration?
                        Thanks.
