How it is comparing with PeiChun? maybe it is not fair to compare Kuo Chuan with Peichun, because Kuo Chuan is consider neighbourhood school.
but just saw some compare Poi Ching with St Hilda. wondering if anyone compared Kuo Chuan with Peichun.

anyway, is Kuo Chuan consider a good school? how is its PSLE result? how many percent can go to express stream?

The truth is pei chun is much more popular than kuo chuan.

actually I'm also confused what is the definition of neighbourhood school? I assume Peichun is very popular, so it is not considered as neighbourhood school

Neighbourhood schools mean schools MPs don't want to send their children to.

In my dictionary, neighbourhood schools should be those built by PAP govt after SG independence. For instance, Rivervale Primary School. There are some pioneer schools built by philanthropists, Chinese clans, religious organisations. One good example is Qifa Primary School which was called Khee Fatt Study Institution founded by the Hakkas in 1906. They have often been lumped together with neighbourhood schools.

Would like some advice. I've secured a place in Rosyth in Phase 2A2. Due to logistics reasons, I'm considering a switch to Holy Innocent. Looking at the analysis for Phase 2B here: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/event ... n-phase-2b, I understand that there are less vacancies for 2B as compared to last yr.

In past years, balloting in 2B was only conducted for those living >2km. This year, what's the chance we have to ballot for 1-2km?

If there's a chance of balloting, I won't take my risk and will stick with Rosyth.
