:scared: Of course they can. ( as i understood it from reading this forum ) and it seemed that lots of people are going to do it eg. K_-_p__. But, I am not sure if MOE restrict how many times theses people can withdraw their registrations.

May I suggest that MOE impose an admin charge or shall we call it, \" ficklemindedness\" or \" Kiasuism \" fine of say $500/- for such withdrawal so as not to deny more \" Serious and sincere \" applicants of their chances ?? :evil:

My boy is born in Yr 2009, and will be due for P1 registration next year.

From the place I am staying at, the list is at follows:

Cantonment Pri - 1 - 2km
ZDPS - 2 - 3km
APS - 3 - 4

What do you think are the chances of my boy getting into ZDPS or APS? Or I dont even have to think about that at all, and Cantonment Pri is my one and only choice?

Frankly, we can't tell you what are your chances coz P1 registration changes is getting rather unpredictable. But if you want my really honest opinion, unless you are PV or GRL making you eligible for P2B at the schools (which is too late to apply now if you have not), your chances of getting into ZDPS and APS are not high coz you are above 2km.

For Cantonment Pri, its about 20 mins walk from our house. For Hong Wen Pri, will have to take a sch bus, or Northeast Line, alight at Boon Keng, and walk to the school, and I have no idea how far away is the sch from BK mrt station.

Hong wen is a very good school, if you drive, you can consider sending your child to Hong Wen school and let him take the school bus back. where do you stay? Is Cantoment the nearest school from your place?

Unfortunately, I dont drive, n the nearest school to where we r staying will be Cantonment pri (1-2km). The next nearest will b ZDPS, RMPS, RVPS (2-3km), follwed by APS (3-4km).

I am an ex-HW student, so can register under P2A (2)? Having said that, not sure of the chances of getting in.

Whats your view on this? To go for Cantonment Pri, which is abt 20 mins walk from our place, or HW pri, whereby I will either need to send him to sch by train, or sch bus.

As for ZDPS, RVPS, RMPS n APS, can basically say the chances of securing a place is near to zero?
