Looks like all good news here, I am 1 of the unlucky few who are are not successful at balloting.....feeling down.....

      not to worry.

still got Phase 2C, next week.

is your child dd or son ?
if dd and SC < 2 km, high chance at rgps. (102 vacancies, left at 2C)

i dont understand the mentality of some wet blanket, i don’t think i need my child to be gifted to be happy that he will be given a chance to experience a good school .

Ya lor...it's the stress of going through another phase of registration, possibility of another balloting...then if still unsuccessful, the next child facing same logistics problem when they go to the same school the elder sibling is being posted. Quite a lot of parents more worried about distance...

:snuggles: to all who didn't. Goodluck for the next Phase.

Thanks for advice. Mine is dd. I am going for Marymount Convent for phase 2B, my 2nd choice. I know it is no big deal, kept telling myself it is ok, but can't help feeling disappointed for not getting our 1st choice, especially when there are usually no balloting required at this phase for 1-2km ..feel very unlucky.

rpps is > 2km for me, so no chance. Wonder why the low no of applicants for the school??

Don't be too hard on yourself. You did what you think is the best for your DD. Everyone had an equal chance in the ballot. MCS is a good school. All the best!
