When you withdraw from a school, do you need to show any documents like birth cert or parents IC? Tomorrow I will be standing by at the Phase 2A school waiting to withdraw while my husband monitors the Phase 2C school, which one of us should be holding on to the ICs?

The competition at Phase 2C is likely to be very high this year. If your Phase 2A school is close to you, you might as well stick with it instead of tempting fate. If you want to switch, do it for logistical reasons, and not because you think the other school is better.

To answer your question: You will need both parents' NRICs to withdraw, but you only need 1 parent to be present.

When you withdraw, you need both parents' ICs.
When you register, you also need both parents' ICs. So need to travel fast from one school to the other. :nailbite:

When MOE website gets updated tonight, will the figures include online application?

Seems that now they implement online application, it is nowhere here nor there. Can’t even tell if we are getting a complete picture

The numbers furnished by the school through phone calls and the numbers updated on MOE website will include both walk in and online registration.
