Travel: China - Hong Kong
-
I was in HK during the CNY years ago. I recalled many eateries were closed and those opened, charged extra on top of the normal listed prices on food.

Hi fussyMummy,
My HK friend told me best period is around May-June and Oct-Nov. However, nowadays the weather has gone crazy so need to monitor the weather forecast before departure. I just came back from HK. Itβs spring now but the temperature was between 8 - 12 degree. Dinsyeland area was only 5 degree! It was freezing. -
my last trip to HK was in late april. The weather was great, nice and cool, yet not too cold. Apart from 1 rainy day, the rest were either cloudy while occassional burst of sunshine.
best of all - NO CROWD!!! especially at Disneyland and Ocean Park. No queue β¦ we ran straight from exit to entrance of same ride over and over again until we got sick of it then moved on to next ride. -
ya .... those were the days. My trip to gold coast was off-peak too.
From now on, must fight and queue ... since my DS is P1.

Hope you guys enjoy your trip!
