i think Juying surely need not ballot right? Based on the stats of past 8 years, they always have vacancies left after phase 2CS.

This yr a bit unexpected as some schools past few years have vacancies at 2cs but at stage 2c already full or need ballot.... so i feel very stress now who knows suddenly some parents all think this school is safe then come to the school to register then will give us a heart attack

Phase 2C(S) is really difficult to predict as it is subject to a lot of behavioral dynamics.

I do not know the distance breakdown. Past year statistic showed that SC more than 2km need balloting at Phase 2Cs.

I don't have the breakdown data. Parents must call the school and ask.
My friend last year was lucky to be balloted into Phase 2Cs despite staying more than 2km. She shared that she was prepared to enrol her child in Phase 3 in the neighbourhood school within 1km which she knew will have vacancies even in Phase 3. She took the big risk to register her child in MCS despite more than 2km away and she won a seat for her child in the ballot.

Those looking at gals’ school might want to monitor this school tomorrow, if you want to avoid balloting which is likely to happen at the other over-subscribed gals’ schools.

Unless you are SC within 1km of North Vista, otherwise stick to Springdale as Springdale has lots of vacancies.

Just be prepared for balloting at North Vista in the event that there are more SC within 1km of North Vista coming to register today.
