Just wondering, is there any field trip for P2 coming up this term? Cyranocrash, any idea?!

There's a Palm View Challenge scheduled for November which I think is a trip to the Forest Adventure @Bedok Reservoir. Anything before that I'm not aware of.

School can do so much.. most importantly.. it is the parents that need to have right attitude and mindset. But for most parents.. it is difficult because our system forces us to measure our kids' success based on their results. A 5 marks dip will get the parents in panic mode and start thinking about tuition.. hahahahha.

Its never easy.. it's a constant battle at home for me too. Wife will panic.. and I will pull her back and ask her to let go.. focus on our kids' effort instead of the results.

This is true and I completely agree. Am already finding myself teetering on the edge of tuition / enrichment classes.

But no. I will endeavour to stand firm. Wish me luck! πŸ˜“

I am also one who is trying very hard not to succumb to tuition. Testing my own endurance to see how far I can go. Always telling myself must persevere . Wish both of us good luck ! :celebrate:

Yes, must admit that there is some form of guidance. Probably cannot call it tuition as the SC has a separate program for tuition for different subjects. Just hoping that the guidance provided can ease my workload so that I can have more time to laze around. Hahahaha.......

BTW, find it difficult to coach my own kids as they are so \"familiar\" to you. Probably that is also one reason some parents subcontract the job to tutors, I think

Yeah.. not easy to tutor your own kids. Which is why I chose not to. I leave the school syllabus, etc with the school. Once out from school, they do anythin but school.. hahahahha.
