I do not know if the school needs volunteers for the coming P1 orientation. Usually if they do, they will let our children bring home a paper asking for parent volunteers, eg during sports fest. If you're keen, you may wish to call up the school general office?
Hi Archon/AP,
I'd be happy to answer any queries regarding P1 to the best of my knowledge
Suggest you post your questions here, so that other more experienced parents can also help to answer (a lot of ε§θθιΎ parents here, you know?
) and it may benefit other P1-to-be parents who are reading this thread too.

m240:
Which class is your child in? Hope it's not the last class.
Hi bgmum,
Thanks for the information, it is very useful. She is settling well but it seemed that I am not getting enough information from the teacher. Am still trying to figure out how things work here. -
Scary:
There is no banding in P1. Everyone comes in as equal.

My child is indeed in class 9.
Any suggestions how make things work with this teacher? -
m240:
I've not dealt with class 9 teacher before, so I don't have anything to share. Hopefully you can find some other parents to help you.

Btw a correction. There're 10 classes in P1/2, thus the so-called 'last class' should be class 10 instead.
