Thank you, 25hourmaid!
I will contact those schools first thing next week.
Thanks to you all, I am getting more positive about it.
I can't give up yet!
Can anybody help me with more names?

Hmm I was thinking of Peiying Primary School & Jiemin Primary School...Thank you, CoffeCat for the info.
I contacted two schools in the area. One - a long wait list, and the other - no foreigners.

I've just received a reply from one of the schools that I submitted waitlist application forms last year.
Hurray!!
One child is still on waitlist, but they have space for the other one.
By the way, the positive outlook will bring a positive outcome, won't it?

Better to keep trying than to downgrade your elder child. Not ideal to waste 1 more year of her life studying unless desperate.

Haven't cotacted Jiemin. Will do it next week. -
This varies depending on your child. There are thousands of assessment books out there, so you might wana find some time to research on the books or dig through the threads in this forum. Definitely need to get this "Problem Solving Processes in Mathematics" to handle the increase in problem sums aspect of p5 maths.

Not being a wet blanket here, but usually there is already a long waiting list for these schools. The locals are already finding it difficult to get a transfer into these schools, what more about foreigners? -
