A lot of my favourite songs were written by Andrew Lloyd Webber especially from Phantom. But I ain't no disfigured genius ok

One of my super smart ex-colleague told me that studies have shown that kids who listen to classical music are smarter. That's really a moot point but I can accept that.
To each his own lah ....

My toddler listens to a range of songs from, Michael Jackson, Norah Jones, Bee Gees, (yup, DH's a fan, abandoned me once in London on my own to go all the way to Wembly Stadium to watch their concert, more than 10 yrs back :D) to his nursery rhymes. He is turning out to be quite discerning in his taste for songs/music. We were in a restaurant 2 days ago for lunch, MJ's 'smooth criminal' was being played, and he was nicely tapping his toes

Love, me by Collin Raye - never fails to bring a lump to my throat esp at the chorus which was supposedly from the grandpa to his wife at her funeral. 😒

\"If you get there before I do
        Don't give up on me
I'll meet you when my chores are through
        I don't know how long I'll be

But I'm not gonna let you down
        Darling wait and see
        And between now and then
        Til I see you again

        I'll be loving you
        Love, Me.\"
Wow! Such empowering words! He's a musical genius, you said that you listen to him on youtube, I'm going there right now! πŸ˜„

I remembered I quietly cried the first time I heard this song, some 20 yrs ago 😒 The singer must be proud that his song touched so many millions of people. On a happier note, I like Sam Hui's music too. If you read the lyrics, they reflect life's challenges so accurately.

Know what Chief, swear I didn't see the medal until today!

I thought you were referring to the 'goldish' bracelet on her arm when I read this some days back.

My eyes, my eyes ... really badly due for a check-up lah πŸ˜„
goldish lah ... not goldfish πŸ˜„

Alamak, don't tell me your eyes too πŸ˜‰

Anyway, your drawing of the medal is REALLY impressive!
