I found this very good article about how to improve a child's concentration. 杨其铎 is the author of the http://tamarindvillage.blogspot.com/2009/12/chinese-picture-books.html series of books.

      Source :
      http://www.muqin.com.cn/zt/20060721/

It is very important for parents to find ways to improve kids' concentration and abilities to focus. If a child cannot focus, sending to many enrichment classes will be useless to him. It is better to teach him at home.

IMHO the most important point from the above article is :

            windows,
All the payment options are listed when you are about to make payment.

Mastercard also uses the Secure Online Shopping (Verified by Visa) feature, it is the same as the Visa card.

So far I have only used Citibank Visa to pay successfully for 6 times. dangdang website did not say which credit card can be used. They only say that they use the \"Verified by Visa\" feature. If you google \"Verified by Visa\" and go to the visa website, you will find that only Citibank credit card in Singapore has this feature.

Amex card is also listed as onle of the options. According to another parent, DBS Amex card is the eaiest to use.

I have no knowledge of other payment options.

How is your order ? Have they shipped out already ?

              hi all,

I found ‘Words & Images’ by ‘King of the Chinese Series’ at You Lian, Bras Basah. It is published by ‘King of the Learning Centre Pte Ltd’ which runs Chinese enrichment classes at Leng Kee CC.

‘This book cleverly transforms abstract and challenging Chinese chracters into interesting pictures from which the characters were formed. From the pictures, young children will recognise as well as understand the meaning of the related Chinese characters’

If there are other parents using this book to teach their children Chinese at home, please share here. Thanks
