worryfather:
So, worryfather.. have you stopped worrying and consider joining Woodlands Primary?
yeah.. it is always great to hear the kids enjoy school activities..funshine bear:
Hi, I'm new here; also have children in Woodlands Pri; 2 girls (P1 & p3).
Yesterday I took off to take a look at my P3 girl swimming lesson and think it is a great idea that school introduce this activity cos my girl used to scare to go into the pool but saw her enjoying herself very much.
Seems like Woodlands Primary is getting a lot of good feedback.. -
Is the principal Ms Kit Gek Wah? She was formerly from Guangyang Primary.
-
Hi Optimizer,
Yes. She is Mdm Kit. Nice lady. Do you know her?
Are your kids in WDP? -
all.in.one:
thank you for adding me in the list, all.in.oneHi funshine bear! Welcome :rahrah:
Yes! I loved Woodlands Primary's holistic and no frills approach!
It is important for children to move about and not stuck behind
the desk (like their parents) all the time.
My DD came back home bubbly almost everyday throughout her
P1 year, unless she lost something that day hahhaha.. Lots of things
to talk about

Sorry for the error in your profile, edited.
Does your P3 girl have formative tests where marks are to be added
into the report book at the end of the year?
worryfather, no exams for P1s this entire year, no exams for P2s for first
3 terms. SA2 in term 4. But P1s and P2s have ongoing formative
assessments on designated weeks. marks will be recorded.
So far my DD is doing well. Today Maths formative test. Hope she checks properly
Chinese formative test this Friday.
Anyway, suppose to ensure good progress in daily work and not last minute dash. Whatever will be will be...
Usually do a roundup recap on the week beforehand.
So no worries on test weeks for us

thanks for the update, no worries.
yes there is formative test for P3 (so far is english and maths, chinese not yet) Science will only be tested in P4.
Yes, will like to know more about PSG, do you mind sharing? -
funshine bear,
PSG supports the school in various areas. Some examples
are school learning journeys, road safety, gate duty.
P3 swimming chaperon is one youβve mentioned.
