Yes! I loved Woodlands Primary's holistic and no frills approach!
It is important for children to move about and not stuck behind
the desk (like their parents) all the time. :lol:

My DD came back home bubbly almost everyday throughout her
P1 year, unless she lost something that day hahhaha.. Lots of things
to talk about :lol:

yes it is great to know that our children enjoy themselves in school worryfather, just to share that the teachers that has been teaching my children or taught her before, are very understanding, patient and nice.

I think quite difficult to stop worrying for kids..
Haven't decided, but Woodlands Primary certainly is in my consideration list.
but it is about 2km or more from my house.

Does your P3 girl have formative tests where marks are to be added
into the report book at the end of the year?

worryfather, no exams for P1s this entire year, no exams for P2s for first
3 terms. SA2 in term 4. But P1s and P2s have ongoing formative
assessments on designated weeks. marks will be recorded.
So far my DD is doing well. Today Maths formative test. Hope she checks properly
Chinese formative test this Friday.
Anyway, suppose to ensure good progress in daily work and not last minute dash. Whatever will be will be...
Usually do a roundup recap on the week beforehand.
So no worries on test weeks for us

yes there is formative test for P3 (so far is english and maths, chinese not yet) Science will only be tested in P4.

are school learning journeys, road safety, gate duty.
P3 swimming chaperon is one you’ve mentioned.

sound interesting however what is the time commitment, sorry it seem to me like is for school hours I'm afraid that I can't afford the time cos I'm working. Beside you, any one of us is in PSG?

Hi all.in.one,
So far so good. I think my boy is put into beginner group, so far, the coach just taught them some basic strokes. Last week weather was bad, the sky poured just when they started the lesson, so the lesson was cancelled.
There's no lesson this week as it is school holiday, so lesson resume next week. Let's see how next week ^-^
